From the collection of Glee Krueger: A rare Midwestern sampler from Worthington, Ohio, worked under the auspices of Amanda Munhall in 1839, this piece has a three-sided strawberry border surrounding script and plain alphabets. A large blue schoolhouse, flanked by bell towers and outbuildings, is at the bottom.
