Description
This simple, sweet, naive English sampler has meandering floral and Greek key borders, centering a large basket of flowers and foliage. The verse and inscriptions read:
Love the Lord and he will be a tender father unto thee
Mary Moss Work August 28th 1816
It is stitched entirely in cross stitch. On 40 count linen the finished size will most closely approximate the size of the original, at 10″ x 12-1/4″. I can substitute lower thread count by request at no additional cost (25-30-35 count). The sampler is recommended for any level of skill.
