Linens

Linens – All Counts
Our exclusive unbleached and hand dyed linens very closely match antique linens, in weave as well as color. The colors of our linens are subtly shaded, the linen yarns used in weaving them are of a certain thickness that we have specified to the weavers, all in order to achieve the closest possible match to the types of linen used two and three hundred years ago. Our linens are available in a variety of colors from 25 count up to 45 count.

Many of these linens are offered exclusively through THE SCARLET LETTER. These are the linens used in our kits and have been carefully selected for their striking resemblance to authentic 17th, 18th and 19th century sampler linens. They represent the finest Scandinavian evenweave linens available on the market today perfect for your counted cross stitch project.

The following linens are available in 1/2 or full yard (or more) cuts. We cut “fat” half yards measuring approximately 27″x36″, unless you specify a “skinny” cut of 18″x54″
