“I have seen some of the motifs before but others are quite sure 

The frog is so quirky & what initially drew me to the design was the section with the hands..that is so beautiful 

It reminded me of the Victorian Hand Brooches which were once popular

I am getting on well with the embroidery 

I use 27 count fabric and stitch over 1 thread with one strand of silk

I am using up some of the stash of silks I have accumulated over the years

I have gone for bolder colours than I normally choose and I am so pleased with how they look so far
