An English sampler featuring an elaborate building, “Sheffield General Infirmary” flanked by a nicely outfitted couple, standing on grassy lawns and a driveway. There is a four sided floral border, and a verse:

O that my load of sin were gone
O that i Could at last submit
At Jesus Feet to lay it Down
To lay my soul at Jesus Feet

The sampler is stitched with silk and wool fibers. 23-1/2″x21″, unframed. Very good color and condition.
