A rare and unusual oval sampler in excellent condition, featuring Adam and Eve beside the tree of life with a black serpent. At the top is the crucified Christ executed in stem stitch . The verses are:

The sampler has been conservation mounted, and measures 15-1/2″ x 18-1/2″. Measurements include the frame. Stitches used are cross, counted satin, stem filling, and petit point. This will be available as a chart/kit in October 2013.
