Description

English sampler featuring a scene from the Bible with Elijah being fed by the ravens. The scene is surrounded by a four sided floral border. Stitches used include cross, chenille french knots, satin and stem filling. You can see the man’s painted face and hands despite some fading. 18-1/2″ x 16-1/2″ (larger with frame which is currently undergoing restoration. More photos to follow.)
