ONLINE ORDERING: You can now send us your order with credit card information over the internet, by using the Add to shopping cart buttons. This system is secure and you can be assured that we will only use your information to fill your order. The Scarlet Letter will never sell or give your information to anyone else! Some browsers may give you a message about "leaving a secure site" as you go back to add more items to your shopping cart. This is because the shopping cart (and all information that you enter) exists on a SECURE site, but the general information that you are viewing about the product does not reside on the same site. Please note that a View Cart Button appears at the bottom of each page- you can check or change the contents of your online shopping cart at any time before submitting your order.

If you prefer to use a credit card without giving your card number online, please call or fax or mail your order. You can then request your credit card number be kept on file with THE SCARLET LETTER. Anytime you wish to order you can either E-mail, fax, or call and reference your previous order. Credit Cards will only be charged the day the order is shipped.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: POSTAGE WILL BE BILLED AT ACTUAL COST FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS. I read/write in English, French, and Italian (although I don't speak French and Italian as well as I would like, I will do my best to communicate with you!) We ship only by airmail. If you pay by credit card, we will post your order immediately. If you prefer to pay by cheque in U.S. dollars, you must first write to let us know your order, and we will then let you know what the actual postage charges will be.
SHIPPING ORDERS: Items are normally in stock and ready to ship. We are known for our prompt and efficient service. Credit cards are not charged until the day your order is shipped. EACH SCARLET LETTER KIT comes complete with linen (cut to size with sufficient allowance for margins on all four sides), ample floss, detailed instructions and easy-to-read stitch diagrams, clear graphs, a needle, a color photograph of the finished piece, and its historic background. All in stock items will be shipped within 24 hours of receiving your order if you pay by credit card or money order. If you pay by check, we reserve the right to wait for your check to clear before shipping your order. We apologize for this inconvenience, but because of unfortunate experiences, we must enforce this policy. If you are in a massive hurry to receive your order, Federal Express or UPS Next Day or Second Day Air Service delivery can be arranged. We charge you the actual cost, which will vary according to the weight of your order, so please provide us with a credit card number for rush orders.

GIFT CERTIFICATE

Gift Certificates are available in any denomination for gift-giving year round. We can send it directly to the recipient of your choice. If you wish to include a catalog, there is an additional $10 charge. No Shipping charges.
